Congress has approved a new law addressing a number of long-standing
credit card industry abuses — the kinds of things that have drawn
complaints to ConsumerAffairs.com for years. And while the law will
resolve those issues, it could well make credit more difficult to
obtain for some consumers, and more expensive for others.
