The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating complaints that the front power windows on the driver and passenger sides of some Pontiac Vibes shatter while being raised or lowered.
Three consumers complaining to NHTS report they sustained injuries while cleaning the glass debris out of the front seats.
NHTSA reports that it has received 15 complaints about windows shattering on 2003-2004 Vibes.
An additional three consumers report they have heard a popping or cracking noise and were concerned the window may shatter.
NHTSA said the issue could affect more than 120,000 vehicles.
A General Motors Corp. spokesman said the automaker is cooperating with the investigation.
